We appreciate everyone's patience for the unveiling of our little one. We arrived home today after 5 days in the hospital with a final clear bill of health. We will give more details and imagery soon, but for now, here are the stats:

Okay, with this oh-so-sweet picture I will confess that it was worth the wait. And I will send my apologies to blogspot for any technical difficulties we may have caused checking the site every 5 minutes over the weekend.
Soren is just beautiful and I can see how easy it is to forgive him for weighing over 9 pounds!
We can't wait to see you all, but will remain patient until everyone in our household is free of all colds and flu.
Now get back to sleeping and feeding. It's a vicious cycle, but the rewards are many...after a month or two that is, when you're awake enough to remember them.
Congratulations on the safe and happy arrival of little Soren. He's a lucky boy.

Well, I heard it was a boy - and I think Soren is a pretty cool name for a dude. And since the name 'Gordon" is nowhere to be found I'm going to continue assuming the baby is packing. Get that boy in the saddle - nine pounds is a healty size - but only let him gain another buck fifty or so if he's going to wear the the yellow.
Thank God (I mean really... thank Christ knowing the ornery mother) that the name Lewandowski appears at the end.
