Back to Blue

After six years - it feels good to be back in a Blue State, politically speaking. Two years ago Randy and I went to Ohio to "Get the Vote Out" election day for poor old Kerry/Edwards (Indiana was a lost cause). This year, my mum and I spent the afternoon of Nov. 7th "Getting the Vote Out" for the Democratic party. The democrats had a pretty good sweep for the day - but I was especially proud of Amy Klobuchar who ran for MN Senate. Many years back I used to nanny for her little girl Abigail, now 12 years old. Randy and I spent the evening celebrating in St. Paul at the Democratic party hotel celebrations and even got to personally hug Amy and dear Abigail. How good it feels to be Back to Blue....
