One Fish, Two Fish

It is no secret that Randy and I are just not fishing folk. So when our dear friends Rick, Karen, Nora and Klara show up with poles and bait, we are thrilled to let them guide Soren through the fishing process. As you can see from the photos, Soren out-fished his teacher size wise. Thanks Rick for being a great fishing guide and to Karen for having a camera that had working batteries to document the whole affair.

The Official Thumbs Up

With summer in full swing now we have been basking in the wonderful weather. I think we have been swimming everyday of July so far. Soren is in a new phase of giving thumbs up for good things, so here he is offering his vote for summer so far.


This year for the Pequot Lakes July 4th Kiddie Parade Soren and Sevi represented the Stars and Stripes!

Chumming Around

It is a rare treat to get to hang out with any family from my mom's side of the family, as they all live in Canada. My cousin Sandy and her 16yo daughter Ali came to celebrate Canada Day and July 4th with us at the cottage. Soren had a wonderful time hanging out with Ali.
