Happy Us (Yeah for 10 Years!!!)
On Friday the 13th, Randy and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. We celebrated at the cottage where we had our wedding, had a surprise cake made for us from the bakery we had our wedding cake made (thanks mom and Chris!), ate a fine meal at Prairie Bay, revisited the B&B barn we spent our wedding night at (sadly we did not actually spend a night but were happy to see it was still operating), then watched the fireworks that our lake association puts on every July that we also enjoyed on our wedding night. It was a wonderful weekend that has wrapped up a decade full of love, adventures and family additions. Here is to the next 10 years!

Bowling for Father's Day
For Father's Day this year we started off the morning walking to our local Turtle Bread for breakfast. It was a beautiful morning that made it hard to justify going indoors to go bowling, but with a bowling groupon that was to expire the next day, we hit the lanes. Wearing their handmade fish t-shirts we made for Father's Day via Creative Kidstuff, the boys and Randy were all set with their bowling team attire. We bowled at Memory Lanes in our neighborhood and the boys loved it. As you can see from the scoreboard picture, Soren and Sevi are born bowlers!

2012 Nature Valley Grand Prix Kiddie Race
This is now our second year in a row that we have meet up with our friends Laura and Rob and their boys to race at the St. Paul leg of the Nature Valley Grand Prix. Soren, Gus and Mason did the full crit loop, a little shy of a mile total. Sevi did the two block little kids loop. They all had a blast and we look forward to next years race. |
