Sky Zone Trampoline Park

We just had the best playdate with dear friends Molly, Kai and Ruby June. We spent the morning bouncing off walls and jumping into ball pits at Sky Zone. All the kids had a blast, mama's too, even though we realized we had to up our kegal workouts!!!

30 Days of Biking

We have been in training for our family commitment to 30 days of biking that starts today, April 1.

"30 DAYS OF BIKING HAS ONE RULE ...
Bike somewhere every day for 30 days—around the block, 20 miles to work, whatever suits you. We advocate daily bicycling because we believe it enriches lives and preserves the Earth. A worldwide, thousands-strong community of joyful cyclists has been forming around that idea since April 2010—and will further amass in 2012."

The boys' big sister Liz inspired us to join her and the rest of the worldwide biking community for this annual April event. Sevi is a whiz on his little balance bike at just under 2.5 years of age. Soren is the old pro now on his own two wheelers. Look for us on our daily rides through the neighborhood and we hope to see you out there pedaling your own bikes.

It is well known that Sevi loves to eat. Where he stores it all I have no idea. I only know he must have the best dreams of food with each nap and night time rest, as the last word to pass his lips before he drifts off is "eat", even if it is just minutes from finishing lunch or dinner.

Back on Track

I really have no proper excuss for doing such a poor job of keeping the blog up to date. I know that I have felt my own pressure to re-organize and clean up the blog entries from our trip to England and France in December. Now that I have finally done that, I can move on to the current status of the boys. In the meantime, I encourage you to go back through the archives or at least to the final entry that gives photographic voice to my little protegee.......

Hello and Goodbye to Winter

Can you believe it has taken until the first weekend in March in order to be able to have enough snow to get out and sled this winter?!?!?! Good thing we hit the hills hard this weekend, as it is forcasted to be 55 degrees tomorrow.

Natural History Museum

We took a trip into London yesterday to visit the museum that my father did his anthropological research at when we lived here back in 1973. It was great for the boys to see the dinosaur exhibit and to check out the explorer backpack that came with hat, binoculars and crayon kits. We all had a lovely visit and hope to make it back again someday.

Just Eat

If Sevi leaves here with any memory of the trip, it will be thru his stomach. The boy requests to eat at least eight times a day. He is in high heaven in the hotel room due to the fridge that is his exact height. We catch him in there constantly. He also loves to shop, pulling behind his own basket. The stroller is another favorite location. He even opted to hang out on a bench at the Luxembourg Garden playground to eat. I hope there won't be a weight restriction for toddlers on the plane ride home!
